Service no idea as I didn't order but My husband said it was ok .. we got our food delivered. Delivery was long .. It took over 1:30 to get our food delivered so Maybe next time we might just go dine at the resto. Food: AMAZING FRESH AND. DEFINITELY WORTH all the wait. I was surprised on how freah everything was and the portions were insanely huge. We had our eye out for their POUTIZZA (Poutine Pizza) everyone we know kept recommending it to us and so we ordered it and ordered a separate poutine to try the differences. Omyyyyyy lord wow was their Putizza Amazing it was deeelicious. I can't believe It was a medium size it looked like an Extra large .. it was jam packed and definitely worth the wait. I can't explain how amazingly good it was!!! We also ordered their famous meatball sub,doner souvlaki pita and hot dog Michigan.. we couldn't finish it all but we wanted to try a bit of everything on their menu and trust me everything was delicious and their portions were insanely huge. The meatball sub was good and the sauce was to die for. The only criticism was the souvlaki was a bit small and not enough tzatziki .. it wasn't as generous like the other meals. Overall, I definitely recommend this place for their poutine pizza you must try it !!! It was amazing!! Definitely will be back
The subs and the pizza are slightly more expensive than the average chain restaurant but the quality is higher as well.
The freshest ingredients, unique creations (Poutizza, anyone!) and an owner who really cares about the food he sends out makes Georges le Roi du Sous-Marin in Vaudreuil an excellent choice for those pizza cravings. A lot of places in the area do hot subs, but until you've had them on the incomparable pizza dough roll, hot and fresh from the oven, you haven't lived! The juices soak into the bread, but since it is so crispy and crunchy, the sub doesn't fall apart! The poutines are a personal favourite of mine, especially with hot dogs or bacon! Even just fries and gravy are a real treat! The pizzas are stuffed with so many toppings, the pizza looks like a mountain when it goes into the oven, piles of pepperoni, heaps of cheese and everything surrounded by a perfect golden crust - crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, the way pizza is supposed to be! Also, when you order bacon on your pizza from most pizza places, you get those gross crumbles and chunks of gristle and garbage that doesn't make the cut to the grocery store - not here. Here you get real bacon, thick chunks of real, delicious bacon! I've read other reviews on here that mention that the owner is surly or unwelcoming - nothing could be farther from the truth! He runs a tight ship and when he's in the crush on a busy night, he might get a little stressed, but that's to be expected when you run a successful business. Would the other reviewers say the same thing about a chef at a fine-dining restaurant who is barking orders left and right to maintain the highest standards possible? Of course not, so why is the owner of Georges le Roi held to a different standard? This man would be at home in a 5-star restaurant kitchen, keeping the brigade in line and turning out consistent, high-quality food night after night; he just happens to run a pizza and sub joint rather than a Michelin star restaurant. Overall, the subs are incredible (be sure to ask for pizza dough bread!), the poutines are perfect, the pizzas are unbelievable and frankly, the Poutizza scares the crap out of me but it combines two of my favourite things, so it can't be bad! Give Georges le Roi a try, you won't regret it!
Subs are delicious, can choose pizza dough instead of regular bread . Not a fan of the fries though, too starchy. A little on the expensive side compared to other places like Roma or Bravo.
